Blue tops Red in Sunday nightcap

Blue blew open a tight game with three unanswered goals to beat Red 5-1. Junior and Ray W each had a goal and two assists to lead the attack, with Greg N, Wes H and Tim D adding the others. Rusty G had the lone Red lighter.

“Red was playing without the new trades and needed to pick up a sub. Game was close early but Blue avenged their previous loss to Red by dominating the 3rd period to take the win,” Red coach Fudge said. “Goalie Rentz was tough in net as was Boomer until the Red collapse in the 3rd.”

    Dave,

On a side note to all of this, I am seeing more and more of our fellow CD Master players being stricken with illness or injury lately. We might want to think of including a small section of your notes on updates on player status:

For example, William (Billy) Anslow passed away this week suddenly; Mike Gingras (open heart surgery); Dan Schongar (open heart surgery) , etc…. Just so we all know and can track status if we know it to share….

Just an idea as we all get older and well all come to the Masters where we skate to bring an end to our careers….
